Pastors Brad and Stephanie Reffitt have a deep passion for creating a church where people can experience real hope in Jesus, build meaningful relationships, grow in their faith, and discover their God-given purpose by making a difference in the lives of others.
In March of 2025, they began with just 12 people gathered in their living room—praying together, sharing vision, and worshiping God. What started as a small step of faith has grown into a thriving church plant that is currently meeting in Trenton on Sunday nights while prayerfully pursuing a long-term location.
Brad and Stephanie are down-to-earth, relatable leaders who love people and believe deeply in the power of authentic community. They are the proud parents of two daughters, Gabrielle and Jocelyn.

At Hope City, people experience REAL. HOPE. NOW. not only during our gatherings, but throughout everyday life. Along with that hope, our community is built around three core values: FAITH, FAMILY, and FUN.
Faith matters because it pleases God. Our desire is to help every person grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus and live out their faith daily.
Family is at the heart of who we are. From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll feel welcomed, known, and valued—because at Hope City, everyone belongs. We believe each person is part of our church family, and we intentionally invest in and care for families as they navigate life together. From the cradle to the grave, families matter to us, and we are committed to ministering to people at every stage of life.
Fun is part of following Jesus. We believe serving God, loving people, being REAL (no perfect people here), offering HOPE (found only in Jesus), and experiencing life-changing transformation NOW should be joy-filled. We laugh together, grow together, and believe there’s always room for more at the table.

The Bible is the foundation of everything we believe and do. We value the Word of God—we study it, believe it, live it, and share it. We believe the Bible is inspired, trustworthy, and relevant for everyday life. It guides our faith, shapes our values, and points us to Jesus. At Hope City, we teach the Bible clearly and practically so people can know God, grow in their faith, and live out His truth.
Generosity is part of who we are. We believe everything we have comes from God, and we choose to live with open hands and open hearts. At Hope City, generosity goes beyond finances—it’s giving our time, talents, and resources to make a difference. We give joyfully, not out of pressure or obligation, because God has been generous to us. Through generosity, people experience REAL. HOPE. NOW.
We value service because Jesus came to serve. Serving is how we love people, build the church, and reflect the heart of Christ. We believe every person is created with a purpose and has something meaningful to contribute. At Hope City, we serve willingly and joyfully, knowing that when we serve others, we are ultimately serving God.
No pretending allowed. We are imperfect people serving a perfect God with other people with REAL issues.
The only true HOPE is found in the life transforming power of Jesus. It is Him we preach that gives HOPE.
Colossians 1:28 He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.
We can experience Jesus and HIS life transforming power NOW.
Isaiah 43:19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
Faith is what pleases God. We believe in having great faith in Jesus and His finished work on the cross. Our desire is to have crazy audacious faith in Him that is able to do abundantly more than we could ever think or imagine.
We value families and it is our hearts desire to offer ministry to people in each stage of life. To strengthen families and to ensure each person that walks through our doors feel as though they belong to this family. There is always more room at the table.
Reaching people for Jesus, serving others and making a difference in our community is fun. We value having fun together every time we gather.
We understand that not everyone will fully share our beliefs—and that’s okay. Our desire is not to argue or debate, but to create a welcoming environment for all. While there are core beliefs we hold as essential to our faith, you are still welcome to attend and be part of our community, even if you’re still exploring or don’t fully embrace everything we believe.
