At Hope City, our Hospitality Team plays a vital role in helping people experience REAL. HOPE. NOW. There’s a place for everyone to serve, including:

• Door Greeters – Welcome guests with a friendly smile and help set the tone for their experience
• Connectors – Build relationships, answer questions, and help people take their next step
• First Impressions Team – Create a warm, organized, and inviting atmosphere
• Café Team – Serve coffee and refreshments while creating space for connection
• Welcome Desk - Smile, be helpful and be prepared to answer any question
• Hope City Merch - Assist each person in the process of purchasing church merchandise/apparel
• First-Time Gifts Team – Help guests feel celebrated and valued on their first visit
• Kids Check-In – Ensure a safe, smooth, and welcoming experience for families
• Parking Lot Team – Greet people before they ever walk through the doors and help with flow and safety
• Card Writing Team – Encourage others through handwritten notes and intentional follow-up

At Hope City, we believe kids matter to God and to the church. From nursery to 6th grade, our Kids Ministry is a place where children are loved, safe, and taught about Jesus in fun and meaningful ways. Serving in Kids Ministry is an opportunity to invest in the next generation and make a lasting impact.

There are many ways to serve, including:

• Nursery Team – Care for and love on our youngest children in a safe, nurturing environment
• Kids Teachers – Teach biblical truths in engaging, age-appropriate ways
• Small Group Leaders – Build relationships with kids and help them grow in their faith
• Craft Prep & Assistants – Prepare and assist with creative activities that reinforce the lesson
• Media Team – Run slides, videos, and other media elements during kids services
• Music Team – Lead kids in worship through fun, energetic music
• First-Time Kids Experience Team – Help new families feel welcomed and confident in Kids Ministry
• Theme & Set Designers – Create fun, immersive environments that make learning come alive

Student Ministries at Hope City exists to help students grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and experience REAL. HOPE. NOW. Serving in Student Ministries is an opportunity to invest in the next generation and walk alongside students as they discover who God created them to be.

There are many ways to serve, including:

• Check-In Team – Create a welcoming, safe, and organized first experience for students
• Youth Leaders – Build relationships, mentor students, and model a life of faith
• Small Group Leaders – Lead discussions, encourage growth, and create space for honest conversations
• Event Coordinators – Help plan and execute youth nights, trips, and special events
• Student Internship Team – For students/leaders called to leadership and ministry
• Media Team – Run sound, slides, lighting, and digital content
• Worship Team – Lead students in worship through music and creative expression
• Food Team – Create connection and community through meals and snacks
• Student Merch Team – Help design, organize, and distribute student ministry merchandise
• Hospitality Team – Help students feel seen, welcomed, and connected

The Media Team helps create distraction-free environments where people can encounter Jesus and experience REAL. HOPE. NOW. Through sound, lighting, visuals, and online experiences, this team supports worship, teaching, and connection both in the room and beyond the room.

There are many ways to serve on the Media Team, including:

• Sound Team – Ensure clear, balanced audio for worship and teaching
• Lighting Team – Create atmosphere and support the flow of each service
• Photography Team – Capture moments that tell the story of what God is doing
• Live Stream Team – Help extend the service experience to those watching online

You don’t have to be an expert—training is provided. If you enjoy creativity, technology, or behind-the-scenes service, the Media Team is a great place to belong and make a lasting impact.

Outreach is how we take the love of Jesus beyond the walls of the church and into our community. We believe the church exists not just for those inside, but for those outside who need hope, care, and compassion.

From serving veterans every Thursday at our Encounter Center, to partnering with local schools and engaging in various community opportunities, Outreach at Hope City is about meeting real needs and building real relationships.

Community Groups are where relationships grow and faith becomes personal. We believe life is better together, and Community Groups create space to connect, grow, and walk through life with others.

Our groups will meet on different days and in a variety of settings—in homes, at the church, in coffee shops, and throughout the community. There will be groups for married couples, new believers, men, women, and more. Some groups are topic-driven, while others are interest-driven, but every group is built around authentic connection and spiritual growth.

Community Groups are a great way to find your people, be encouraged, and grow in your relationship with Jesus.
